The children have an opportunity to invite one special person (or two) to join them for a yummy breakfast in Fellowship Hall from 10:00 AM-12:00 PM. Feed a Friend - A volunteer will put the classroom collection baskets out every Wednesday morning at drop off and collect the items and deliver to church (next door) at pick up. Contact the office if you would like to volunteer for this opportunity.
Library is every Wednesday. Your child will choose a book from the selection of books the librarian brings to the classroom. We hope you enjoy the books with your child(ren) each week and please return the books to school on Wednesday in their backpacks. Happy reading! The Kindergarten class sells soft pretzels every Wednesday. They make a delicious mid-week treat! The proceeds from these sales will go to the Shriner's Hospital of Philadelphia. If you need an order form click the picture or the button below.
Yummy!! Pizza will be for sale on Fridays beginning September 27. It's available for any child that stays for lunch on Fridays. The order form will be coming home in your child's backpack. You can also download the form below by clicking the button.
Every Wednesday, on Bag Day, we ask if you can donate one non-perishable food item or one toiletry for the food pantry, at the adjacent church. Donation bins will be outside each classroom Wednesday mornings. Have your child involved in the gift of giving: ask them to remind you to bring in the item on Wednesdays (perhaps give them a collection of items to choose from) and let them put the item in the collection bin. Items include: canned/jarred fruits and vegetables, rice, pasta, beans, canned meats/fish, peanut butter, soap, shampoos, razors, toilet paper...
During severe weather conditions all early dismissals, delayed opening, and closing announcements will be sent to your cell phone via text message, e-mail address and placed on our website, www.chbcmontessori.org.

Morning Home Environment children are in the care of Mrs. Hepler. Please enter the building through her classroom door located inside the playground. Please remember to sign your child(ren) in on the clipboard. The program begins at 7:30 and the children are taken to their classrooms at 8:45 when school begins.
Afternoon Home Environment children are in the care of Mrs. Hepler on Mondays Wednesdays and Thursdays and Mrs. Fairfield and Miss Liz on Tuesday and Friday. Please park in the parking lot located near the playground. The children can be picked up from the playground or Mrs. Hepler's classroom door. The afternoon hours are 3:00 to 6:00. Please remember to sign your child out on the clipboard at pickup.
Medication will only be given to a child with written request from parents or guardians. Medication will only be given in the original container with the child's name and dosage on the outside. All medicines must be left at the office or with the person in charge.
