President and Secretary
Lauri combines her professional expertise in leadership and organizational development with a personal commitment to nurturing growth, bringing this unique blend to her role at the Children's House of Bucks County (CHBC). As both an alumna and a parent of three CHBC alumni, her dedication to fostering empowering environments is deeply personal. Passionate about community and development, Lauri's vision for CHBC is to sustain its legacy as a cornerstone of community excellence and compassion.
Vice President
With daughter Kenna currently enrolled in Miss Von Berg’s class and her son Rory with Miss Hankin, Katelyn knew joining the Board would be a good fit. Working as a conductor for the New Jersey Transit, Katelyn enjoys baking, reading, and spending time in nature during her free time.
Treasurer
Dhiren Patel is a physician and health care executive, working in early-phase oncology. Combining his passion for the healthcare industry and his children, Dhiren joined the CHBC Board in 2022. His twins Shaan and Serena attend Miss Von Berg and Mrs. Hepler’s classes, respectively.
Director
As part of the CHBC community since 2001, Rajat brings over 20 years of Senior Program Management experience in the financial services and asset management industry. Coupling strong leadership, problem solving, and communication skills with his desire to foster transparent collaboration with parents, teachers, and staff, Rajat eagerly joined the Board of Directors. Rajat’s son Ariv currently attends Children’s House with Mrs. Hepler.
Director
Born in Vienna, Austria with German being her native Language, Daniela has been part of the CHBC community since 2021. Bringing team management and a focus on process management and continuous
improvement, Daniela joined the board in 2024. Her son Tim is an alumnus of Miss Von Berg’s class while daughter Aggie attends with Miss Von Berg.
Director
A not-for-profit fundraising professional specializing in grants management, Shari currently works for New Jersey’s largest healthcare system, securing, managing, and reporting on activities related to grant funding. Coupled with the grants consulting she does throughout the country, Shari brings a unique skill set to the Board. Her son Jeremie is currently in Miss. Von Berg’s class and her daughter Kamille in Miss Hankin’s class. In her free time, Shari enjoys baking, crafting, and creating new Lego builds with her children.
Director
Jess brings her dedication for the school to the Board. Jess currently works as a Senior Director for a software solutions company. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family and relaxing by taking on the NYT crossword and drinking coffee. Her children Madelyn (alumna of Mrs. Hepler), Julia (alumna of Miss Von Berg) and Reagan (Miss Hankin) enjoy living room dance parties with mom.
Director
In her professional experience as Business Operations Manager, Kristin brings organizational, team, and project leadership to the Board. Her interests include reading, travel, and animal welfare advocacy. Her son Benjamin is an alumnus of Mrs. Hepler, with her younger son Theo to follow in his footsteps next year.
