Job Opportunity: Music Teacher
Children’s House of Bucks County, a Montessori school with a rich tradition of fostering holistic child development, is excited to announce a unique opportunity for a Music Teacher. We are seeking a passionate and talented individual to bring the joy and educational benefits of music to our young learners. This role involves visiting our school for 2 hours each week, sharing your musical talents across four classrooms – two pre-primary (ages 18 to 36 months) and two primary (ages 3 to 6 years). This position offers the flexibility to choose your working day, with a preferred start time of 9:30 am to align with our students’ schedules.
Role Overview: The Music Teacher will engage our students through performances and interactive music sessions that inspire and educate. This role requires traveling between classrooms, adapting sessions to suit the developmental stages of our pre-primary and primary students. The ideal candidate is someone with a deep love for music and education, able to captivate and connect with young children, enriching their early learning experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct 2-hour weekly music sessions, divided between our four classrooms.
Design and deliver engaging musical experiences suitable for each age group, incorporating singing, movement, and basic musical concepts.
Foster a love of music and encourage student participation through interactive and fun activities.
Collaborate with our teaching staff to integrate music into the broader educational curriculum, enhancing the holistic development of our students.

Requirements & Qualifications
Qualifications:
Proven experience in music education or performance, particularly with young children.
Ability to play one or more musical instruments and lead group singing sessions.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a knack for engaging young learners.
Flexibility to work within the scheduling needs of the school, with a commitment to consistency and reliability.
Passion for the Montessori philosophy and a desire to contribute to a nurturing, educational environment.
